2013 Theatre Restaurant

Rehearsals for the 2013 Theatre Restaurant - titled "Go West!" - will commence on Monday, 3 June at the Cambrian Centre. Start time is 7:30pm.

We are currently inviting expressions of interest from those interested in performing on stage as part of the cast as well as from those who are willing to assist, both in the lead-up and during the event, with the many backstage and front-of-house roles including costumes, set construction, hall and table decorations, stage and technical crew, kitchen preparations and serving, and bar staff. As always, we welcome contributions from members' spouses, partners, relations etc.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir was held on Sunday, 24 March 2013 at 6:00pm.

Reports outlining the association's activities during 2012 were presented by the Secretary, each of the choir conductors, the Librarian and the Costume Hire Coordinator. CLICK here to read each of these reports.

Elections were held for members of the Management Committee and Patrons for 2013. Those appointed to the management positions are as follows:

120th Heritage Queensland Eisteddfod

The 2013 Queensland Eisteddfod was held in Rockhampton over the Easter weekend from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 Marchl 2013.

The Queensland Eisteddfod is this state's most prominent arena for amateur artists to compete in the areas of choral, vocal, instrumental and speech and drama.

Competing at this year's eisteddfod were the Cambrian's Senior Choir, the Youth Choir and the Show Choir as well as a number of individual members who competed in various solo, duet and other small group events.
