Handel’s Messiah – Excerpts was released in 2006 to celebrate the choir’s 120th anniversary. The recording of 29 excerpts from Handel’s famous oratorio was designed to give a sense of the wholeness of Messiah and some possible new insights into the dynamic struggles in this, the most loved choral-orchestral work in the history of music.
