As part of Spark Ipswich Arts Festival 2026, the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir invites you to bask beneath the Northern Lights and immerse yourself in a vast and sweeping landscape to the soundtrack of music from medieval to modern, featuring choir, strings, piano and organ.

With works by composers hailing from across Europe and North America, including St Hildegard of Bingen, Thomas Tallis, Josef Rheinberger, Franz Biebl, Arvo Pärt, Morten Lauridsen, Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, Eric Whitacre, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Tarik O’Regan and Ola Gjeilo, this programme surrounds you with music in the cavernous acoustic of St Mary’s Catholic Church, allowing you to lose yourself in this soundscape of the wild and wintery north.

Doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm performance.
