Thanks to Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich and their Brothers Helping Others Community Grant, our choir is one step closer to purchasing a new digital piano. We were one of 35 local groups to share in nearly $120,000 generously provided by Brothers Leagues Club.
The funds will be put towards a new digital piano, amplifier, stand and travel case which will benefit all of our choirs, being used for rehearsals when our choirs need to split up and practice in sections e.g. altos & sopranos in one area, basses & tenors in another area. It is also used if any of our choirs are performing on the road e.g. Fernvale Carols. Thirdly, it is used during our annual theatre restaurant, which is the major fundraiser for the organisation each year.
